My husband Glen died when I was thirty weeks pregnant. On the day my son Franklin was born, I lost my uncle too. Two years later, a motorcycle accident ended my career. Then came the businesses that closed. The relationships that ended. The slow dismantling of everything I thought I was.
I am not a therapist who studied grief from the outside. I am a woman who went through every version of it and came out the other side knowing something most people don't. Your body holds the answers your brain can't find yet.

Twenty years as a hairdresser taught me how to hold space before I knew what that meant. I was always the counsellor in the salon. Now I just get to sit down to do the counselling.
Today I work with women who are carrying losses that don't always have names for. I give them the language, the body work, and the path forward.
